The world premiere of the tech thriller "The Circle" will reportedly take place at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival. The American thriller stars Emma Watson and Tom Hanks as they are cognizant of the technological wonders and astonishments who work in accordance to save humanity's future.

The forthcoming suspense-driven film features technology as its main gist. Since it's an indispensable and undeniable essence of human life, some companies strive better to read between the lines. Tom and Emma as Eamon Bailey and Mae Holland, the two protagonists, of the same company function to explore the hidden side of technology and how it affects the future, reports Digital Trends.

The "Beauty and the Beast" star, as a young woman, is hired at a giant Silicon Valley tech and social media organization founded by Tom. John Boyega and Bill Paxton are also among the cast, reports Variety.

"The Circle" is based on 2013's novel of the same name founded by David Eggers. The film aims to highlight how the use of technology can often be death-defying as a few technological advanced companies are bound to know the details that collide with privacy concerns. Furthermore, the technological giant, The Circle, comes afoul of the new technology it has developed, a camera that can live-stream videos.

"The Circles" world premiere will be a part of the film festival's closing night screenings, to be held on Saturday, April 29. The closing night screenings will also include Daniel Kaufman's directed Can't Stop, Won't Stop: The Bad Boy Story documentary on the 20-year history of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' legendary Bad Boys Records. There will also be back to back screenings of "The Godfather" and "The Godfather 2". It will be later on followed by cast discussion, including Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and Francis Ford Coppola.

"The Circle" is scheduled to be released on April 28, 2017. It will be released by EuropaCorp and STX Entertainment.
