A massive leaked of details hit the internet right after the first official images of the video game movie "Tomb Raider" came online. According to the movie director Roar Uthaug, Angelina Jolie's first film is completely different from this as it is an origin story of Lara Croft.

According to the report of GQ, the production has finished and is wrapping up now in South Africa and will move on to the next location. London is the next destination of the team and the official photo of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft was officially revealed.

The Swedish Oscar winner dons in the iconic tank top and is ready for the global adventure in video game movie, "Tomb Raider." The movie will premiere in March 2018 starring Vakander as Lara Croft. It is no secret that the film "Tomb Raider" generally have a poor track record when talking about to quality, BBC has reported.

But he said that the movie will definitely resonate with the fans of the "Tomb Raider canon" as it all reference and inspired by the series. For the record, there are already two films about the "Tomb Raider" already and one of it, Angelina played the character of Lara Croft.

Uthaug stated that the two films were entirely different as for the new one it totally deals with the origin of the protagonist and was much like the 2013 video game. He claimed that Angelina playing the character of Lara Croft was amazing and a lot of fun.

"We are very different, it revolves around the origin story and I think fans definitely will love Alicia in the role," he said. "Tomb Raider" is not just a story of highlighting her terrific physical accomplishments but also touched deeper into her humanity.

Lara Croft is no superhero but instead a champion and a hero, she's very human and will see her more dealing with the humanity in many ways. Uthaug claimed that "Tomb Raider" is not like other game adaptations as they will be more focused on practical effects and not of CGI.
