Season five of "The Walking Dead" will likely feature some new faces from the Robert Kirkman's comic book series, but who exactly will they be?

In early May, Deadline reported that Seth Gilliam, best known for playing Sugar Watkins in 1997's "Starship Troopers" and Ellis Carver in HBO's "The Wire" will be a regular on season five. According to the site, the actor was given the fake name of Michael Todd in the show's breakdown. At the time, however, some fans suspected he might play comic book character Father Gabriel.

Now, there seems to be some new evidence that Gilliam is indeed playing Father Gabriel. He was recently spotted dressed for the part. The Spoiling Dead Fans, a fan group that specializes in getting new details about season five of "The Walking Dead" by lurking around the set, uploaded a picture of what appears to be Gilliam in clerical attire on May 29. SpoilerTV got a revealing shot of Gilliam that day as well.

Of course, no one involved with the AMC show has denied or confirmed the rumor, but some fans say Gilliam playing Father Gabriel coincides with the show breakdown's description of his character, summarized by Deadline at the time of Gilliam's casting.

"Michael is described as having two sides, displaying a friendly, puckish humor but also having a haunted side stemming from a dark secret," Deadline reported.

Meanwhile, Chase Vasser, a former University of Georgia football player  who said he had a role in season five of AMC's "The Walking Dead" in April, has remained mum on the subject after claiming he's not on the show in May.

"I will not be on the Walking Dead! #sorryfans," he tweeted May 17.

"my #ZombieKiller and #NotDyingEasily tweet was about my new film I'm doing were I'm a Vampire fighting Zombies, not a Walking Dead Spoiler," he said the same day.

Vasser has not addressed "The Walking Dead" on his Twitter page since.

What do you think, "Walking Dead" fans? Is Gilliam Father Gabriel? And will Vasser be on season five? Comment below and share your predictions.
