President Joe Biden has received a heartfelt Father's Day message from his wife, First Lady Jill Biden. The greeting happened on Sunday, June 20, as the first lady also expressed sympathy for those "missing their fathers during the occasion.

Jill Biden took to Twitter to express her love to the men of his life in a thread dedicated to her father and, of course, her husband, Joe Biden.

Father's Day 2021: Jill Biden Shares Sweet Message to Joe Biden and Her Father

The first lady commemorated Father's Day 2021 by posting photos of her father and her family and expressed her love for her husband and her father, USA Today reported.

Jill Biden tagged Joe Biden's official Twitter account as she expressed her gratitude and love to her husband.

 "And to the father of my children, @POTUS, your boundless love for our family is our anchor. We love you, Joe," the first lady said.

Jill Biden finished her tweet by putting hashtag #FathersDay as she greeted the father of their children during the occasion.

Jill Biden accompanied her message with a snap of their family on a beach, featuring their children Hunter, Ashley, and Beau, who died in 2015 due to brain cancer.

Before greeting her husband, Jill Biden first reminisced her days with her late father and described him as her "first hero."

"If I close my eyes, I can still hear his encouraging words saying, 'Good for you Jilly-bean'," the first lady tweeted.

Jill Biden noted that she still misses her father, the late Donald Jacobs, who was a Navy signalman in World War II. Joe Biden has yet to reply to his wife's heartfelt message.

The president spent Father's Day with his grandson Robert "Hunter" Biden II, in Delaware, the White House confirmed on Sunday, June 20, as CBS News reported. 

Joe Biden and his grandson were at Fieldstone Golf Club in Wilmington, Delaware, with Steve Ricchetti, a counselor to the president. Robert "Hunter" Biden II is Joe Biden's 15-year-old grandson from his late son, Beau Biden.

Kamala Harris and Former First Lady Michelle Obama's Messages on Father's Day 2021

Apart from the First Lady, other officials like Vice President Kamala Harris and former First Lady Michelle Obama also took to social media to greet their respective husbands during Father's Day. 

Kamala Harris posted a photo of her two children and her husband, Doug Emhoff, on Twitter as she honored all the fathers in the U.S.

"America's fathers make families stronger. They make our nation stronger," Kamala Harris noted.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama also greeted her husband, former President Barack Obama, during Father's Day.

"Happy #FathersDay to all the dads out there - especially the one and only @BarrackObama. Our daughters couldn't have asked for a better role model," Michelle Obama tweeted.
