The love story of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, goes back to their teen years. Stephen was 15 when he met 14-year-old Ayesha at a church in North Carolina for the first time, according to U.S. Magazine.

Years later, they reconnected as adults and decided to give a romantic relationship a chance. Stephen said he always had his eye on Ayesha but got a little shaken during their teenage years.

Fast forward, the Golden State Warriors point guard finally got a chance to pursue Ayesa, a former aspiring actress, while on a trip to Los Angeles, where she was living.

Stephen and Ayesha then spent the day together as just friends and later turned romantic during his visit to East Coast for the ESPY Awards. The two got married in July 2011. Stephen was 23 at the time, and Ayesha was 22.

The Warriors' point guard said he knew he had found the right woman and wanted to start a life with her. Ayesha then decided to pause her acting career after discovering that she was pregnant with their daughter Riley following their wedding.

Ayesha said Riley was a "borderline honeymoon baby," noting that she struggled for a while as things quickly changed for their family.
