Pete Davidson finally broke his silence about his split from Kim Kardashian and a possible return to dating.

A source told Entertainment Tonight on Monday that the SNL star was bummed out that things did not work out with the reality star.

However, the insider noted that Pete was 'focused on the future in terms of his career and personal life." The source added that some of the comedian's friends were trying to get him back into dating.

"Those close to him already want to set him up on dates," the source said.

Pete Davidson Was in 'Trauma Therapy' Over Kanye West's Online Attacks

A source close to Pete Davidson told People that the comedian had sought help for online harassment he had received at the hands of the reality star's ex-husband, Kanye West.

The insider said "The King of Staten Island" star has been in trauma therapy since April due to the online attacks that Kanye posted on social media while Pete was dating Kim Kardashian.

"The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help," the source noted.

The insider also said that Pete has no regrets for dating the SKIMS founder, adding that Kim had been 'nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship."

The source said Pete Davidson just wanted to focus on his career right now.

Kanye West Reacts to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's Breakup

Kanye West shared a mock New York Times Instagram post on Monday morning, declaring, "Skete Davidson Dead at 28." However, the rapper deleted it after a few hours.

Kim Kardashian was reportedly not happy about it. A source told Page Six that the reality star was "livid and incredibly upset," adding that Kim will not tolerate Kanye's "bullying behavior towards the people she loves and cares about."

"This is just a reminder to her that he [Kanye] will never change and why there will never be a chance of reconciliation," the insider said.

Another source told the outlet that the "Kardashians" star said she will "always protect Pete."

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have officially broken up after nine months of dating, sources close to the couple confirmed on Friday.

Sources noted that the two decided to "just be friends." The insiders said long-distance relationship and their demanding schedules are the reasons for the breakup.

Despite having "a lot of love and respect for each other, the sources noted that being in two distant parts of the globe proved overwhelming for the two, which "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.

Pete Davidson has been spending his summer in Australia while working on the new A24 film with Orlando Bloom and Naomi Scott on "Wizards!"

On the other hand, Kim Kardashian has been staying at home in Calabasas, California, and busy with her four children while working on her various businesses.
