Jeremy Renner was caught up in a New Year accident while he was trying to help a stranded motorist as he got caught up by his own snowplow. A few months after the accident, the Avengers star posted a video update about his condition.

According to Variety, Renner posted the video on Instagram and Twitter, and it showed the "Hawkeye" star walking with the assistance of an anti-gravity treadmill. The actor stated that he was making all of "the walking motion" himself, though the anti-gravity treadmill took off a percentage of his body weight as his legs slowly recovered.

In his post, Renner wrote, "Now is the time for my body to rest and recover from my will." This was the first time that the actor posted himself doing physical therapy since that New Year's Day snowplow accident where his Sno-Cat crushed his legs near his Lake Tahoe home in Nevada.

As for the anti-gravity treadmill, he says that "It's like having a cane." The treadmill uses anti-gravity technology for weight-supported walking, running, and other movements to help rehab clients recover from an injury or surgery or build strength and endurance while managing a chronic health condition, according to Yahoo! Entertainment.

The Marvel star revealed that he broke over 30 bones in the accident, writing on social media, "These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all."

Jeremy Renner Has New Disney+ Show About Renovating Vehicles, 'Rennervations'

Jeremy Renner's Sno-Cat was towed away by police following the incident, but the Marvel actor revealed on social media that it had already been returned to his house by authorities. Prior to the accident, Renner had been posting on social media about how much he loved living in the snowy areas of Lake Tahoe and how much he loved using his snow plow.

As he is recovering from his serious injuries, Renner will be starring in a new series, "Rennervations," that will be streaming on Disney+ next month. This new show will showcase the actor's love for refurbishing and renovating vehicles.

In that show, Renner will travel the globe as he finds decommissioned vehicles and refurbishes them for new use. It will premiere on Disney+ on April 12 and was shot before the January 1 accident happened.
