Meghan Markle has denied reports of her sending letters to King Charles, wherein she allegedly expressed concerns about the royal family's "unconscious bias."

The letter was reportedly sent in 2021 to King Charles, according to Los Angeles Times.

It was also reported that the Duchess of Sussex chose not to attend King Charles's coronation due to possibly feeling that she has "not received a satisfactory response to her concerns."

A representative for Markle said that the duchess is "going about her life in the present," adding that she was not thinking about "correspondence from two years ago" pertaining to conversations from four years ago.

The rep went on to say that "any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous." The spokesperson then said that they are encouraging the media and several royal correspondents to end "exhausting the circus" that they are only creating.

The letters were believed to contain Markle writing to the monarch about "unconscious bias" after the Oprah Winfrey tell-all interview.

The letters also reportedly include "concerns and conversations" regarding the skin color of Archie, who is her and Prince Harry's son, before he was born.

Meghan Markle Letters to King Charles

One source claimed that the letters had suggested which of the senior member of the Royal Family made a comment about Archie's skin color, as reported by The Telegraph.

Both parties reportedly understand that the remark was not "made with malice" and the duchess was believed to have thanked the king for his words.

A royal source suggested that the exchange between the two was war in tone, but it had not eased the tension between the two parties.

The Sussexes and Royal Family members' relationship has continuously made headlines, especially after that it was confirmed Prince Harry will be attending his father's coronation while his wife will be staying at their California home with the children.

King Charles's Coronation Attendance

The upcoming coronation of Charles also created tensions within the family, with the Palace being aware of the Sussexes' frustration that the first email correspondence has not made any reference to their children or possible involvement.

Charles and Harry eventually reached out to each other and had a "heart-to-heart" talk before the Duke of Sussex was confirmed to attend his father's coronation in May.

Meanwhile, Markle will be remaining in the United States. Even so, the king included them in the souvenir program, which will be shown on newsstands in the U.K. on April 17, as detailed by EOnline.

The photo in the souvenir program includes a photo of the Sussexes, Camilla, Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children.

William's son, George, will be one of the eight Pages of Honor, which is considered to be one of the important roles in the ceremony.

He will walk the procession and carry the robes inside Westminster Abbey.

King Charles's coronation will be held on the same day that his grandson Archie will be celebrating his fourth birthday.
