Tory Lanez Case

Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion and was sentenced to 10 years in August.

His voice message to fans followed the release of his mugshot, which showed him disheveled and unkempt.

A recent attempt to secure bail during his appeal was denied by an L.A. County judge, who cited the serious nature of his conviction, his history of violating court orders, and his deportation risk, said Rolling Stone.

Since the shooting, Megan Thee Stallion has endured hardships and challenges, as mentioned in a statement she wrote ahead of Lanez's sentencing.

Tory Lanez pleaded not guilty to three felony charges in December, which included assault with a semi-automatic firearm, carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Throughout this legal ordeal, Lanez has steadfastly asserted his innocence.

Lanez took to Instagram to address the situation in August, declaring, "I have never let a hard time intimidate me. I will never let no jail time eliminate me."

Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and always will." He emphasized that he was not apologizing for the charges he deemed wrongful.

Lanez has remained resolute in fighting the case, stating, "I refuse to apologize for something I did not do. I've faced adversity my whole life, and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall, and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious. Tough times don't last, but people do."

Tory Lanez's Life in Prison

Tory Lanez is incarcerated at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California. He expressed concerns for his safety and well-being in prison due to his celebrity status, according to Page Six.

Reports said that he is being held in "Administrative Segregation" to keep him apart from other inmates.

Despite these challenges, Lanez remains hopeful that his legal team will continue to fight for his freedom while maintaining his innocence.

The rapper's size and the presence of hardcore criminals among his fellow inmates add to his concerns about his safety in prison.

Reports suggest that Lanez may be moved to another facility to serve the remainder of his sentence when authorities make that determination.

The prison has had previous incidents involving violence among inmates, raising concerns about Lanez's safety during his incarceration.
