Jeremy Renner has opened up on his recovery efforts after almost dying during a snowplow accident on New Year's Day, admitting that he has tried a ton of therapy methods since the incident.

Best known for his role as Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye in "The Avengers," Renner was hospitalized for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after the Sno-Cat snowplow that he had been driving ran into him as he was trying to help his nephew out of the snow. The incident happened near his Nevada home in Lake Tahoe.

After getting hit by his own snowplow, emergency services quickly responded but he was in serious critical condition, forcing them to airlift the actor to a Nevada hospital. He required intensive surgery and was placed in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit.

The "Hawkeye" star reportedly suffered eight ribs broken in 14 places, a broken right knee and ankle, a broken left leg tibia, a broken left ankle, a broken right clavicle, and a broken right shoulder. However, Variety noted that he was able to walk again in less than a year and this was all thanks to the various therapy methods that the actor had been trying out.

Jeremy Renner Reveals What His 'Greatest Therapy' Was

Renner tried a myriad of therapies as he continued to recover. This includes walking on an anti-gravity treadmill to get him back on his feet.

"I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan. 14th," wrote the actor on social media. "Everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on...."

"My greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better.... Be exceptional..." he continued in his post on Instagram. "I feel it's my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all. #loveandtitanium."

According to E! News, Renner had been constantly keeping his fans updated on his recovery efforts on social media, sharing his work on an anti-gravity treadmill and the "mental recovery" he had been receiving from his family.

Jeremy Renner Continued to Make Public Appearances Despite Heavy Injuries

Jeremy Renner showed that he has the same resilience as his Marvel Cinematic Universe character, Hawkeye as despite breaking over 30 bones in his body and almost dying, he still made appearances at various events.

According to USA Today, just a few months after he almost died in Nevada, he attended the Los Angeles premiere of his Disney+ series "Rennervations" in April. He also went to a fan convention in Arizona last June.

"This show set the milestone for me to get better, to make sure that all of our hard work wasn't for nothing," the actor told the newspaper outlet. "There was no alternative. So for me, it was easy. There was somewhere to go, somewhere to point and I had a lot of love."
