Disgraced former Republican Rep. George Santos has given comedian Jimmy Kimmel what he has been asking for, which is a lawsuit over using his Cameo videos in a comedy bit. The comedian paid the infamous "Lying Congressman" and former drag queen to make ridiculous Cameo messages.

Kimmel then used hilarious lines for Santos to read, with the late-night talk show host showing those messages on his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Santos then threatened Kimmel that he would do so, to which Kimmel said he was looking forward to it and wanted Santos to sue him.

TMZ got a copy of the court documents that George Santos filed, and these showed that the disgraced former House Republican is suing not just Jimmy Kimmel but also ABC and The Walt Disney Company. He alleged that they violated copyright law by broadcasting his Cameo videos on the popular late-night talk show.

George Santos claimed that by broadcasting these messages, the comedian and his co-defendants violated Cameo's terms of service. He alleged that "the types of licenses users receive when purchasing a cameo does not allow a user to broadcast them nationally."

Santos also claimed that according to Cameo's terms of service, all are "wholly owned" by their creator, which is himself. This means that Kimmel, ABC, and Disney were in violation of his copyright claims.

In addition, the expelled former congressman is also suing for fraudulent inducement, claiming that Jimmy Kimmel faked profiles and personas to trick Santos into making five Cameo videos. He is suing the three parties for not just damages but also attorneys' fees.

What Did Jimmy Kimmel Make George Santos Say on Cameo?

Kimmel used fake accounts to prank George Santos to make those Cameo videos. The scripts these various fake accounts provided the former congressman included videos congratulating a woman for successfully cloning her schnauzer named Adolf. He also made Santos congratulate a man for winning a competitive ground beef eating contest, according to the New York Post.

Santos was also aware that Kimmel had been wanting Santos to sue him, claiming in the lawsuit that the comedian "played on the comedic irony of possibly getting sued by [Santos] for fraud, claiming [on his show] that it would be a 'dream come true.'"

How Much Is George Santos Suing Jimmy Kimmel?

Santos made history by becoming one of the few congressmen to ever be expelled from Congress. He is also facing several criminal charges, including being accused of defrauding campaign donors, lying to Congress regarding his wealth, receiving unemployment benefits while employed, and using campaign contributions to pay for his lavish lifestyle.

As for his lawsuit against Kimmel, he is demanding statutory damages totaling $750,000 for those five videos, as well as attorney's fees. He is also asking for other damages that will be determined during the trial, according to the Associated Press.
