The LG Optimus G Pro has dropped to $100 -- and with an almost 5-star review rating on AT&T, too.

From a regular price of $439.99 with a 2-year contract on AT&T, users in the US can now take advantage of $340 worth of savings with the humungous phone tagged at $99.99!

And if you're thinking you're in for a disappointment at such a bargain, think again. You might just be surprised.

The LG Optimus G Pro boasts an expansive 5.5 inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS screen with a 400 pixels per inch resolution. The screen allows for some of the best imaging among current smartphone models -- even surpassing Samsung's Full HD AMOLED screen.

The 5.5 inch giant is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Processor with 1.7 GHz Quad-core CPUS. It has 2GB worth of RAM and a 32GB internal storage expandable to 64GB through micro SD cards.

It runs on Android OS 4.1.2 upgradable to current versions and LG's Optimus UI. The device also has advanced 13 megapixel Full HD rear-facing camera and a front camera - allowing for dual recording.

One might think that a device this big would drain out batteries in a matter of hours but that is not the case. The 3140 mAh battery will suffice for frequent usage of 3G, LTE and WiFi antennas, says Bright Hand. The international model and release of the LG Optimus G Pro includes an extra battery along with a docking station. The handy dock allows users to charge the phone wirelessly by leaning it against the station.

The LG Optimus G Pro has a 4.7 out of 5 rating at AT&T. Some common concerns included battery life which seemed to have mixed responses from users. Others gave this handset's battery a 2 out of 5 rating while some other users gave it a perfect 5. Another concern for the LG Optimus G Pro was its size. Users who are looking for something handy are not advised to take their chances on the phone. Although thinner and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, users of this giant of a phone will still take some time figuring out how to navigate the phone comfortably.
