FIFA 14 introduced legends to its ultimate team mode, and this year's version will expand on that.

FIFA 15 is set to be released on Sept. 23 in North America, and Lionel Messi will be on the cover.

Pre-ordering the ultimate team edition of the game will get gamers Messi FUT Loan, 40 ultimate team gold packs, three new celebrations, an adidas All-Star Team, adidas Predator boot bundle and historic kits. The standard version comes with 15 ultimate team packs.

The legends included will be Peter Schmeichel, Roy Keane, Sir Bobby Moore, Carlos Valderrama, Roberto Carlos, Alan Shearer, Laurent Blanc, Jay-Jay Okocha, Franco Baresi, Brian Laudrup, Hristo Stoichkov, Michael Laudrup, Emilio Butragueno and Andreas Brehme, notes Polygon.

Valderrama was a Colombian star who was well known for his wild hair. Brazilian Roberto Carlos was one of the faces of Real Madrid's famed Galacticos and featured 125 times for the Brazilian National Team.

The legends will only be available for Xbox One and Xbox 360, just as with the previous year's game.

Ultimate team is the game's most popular mode.

Microsoft also announced pre-loading is coming to Xbox One, and FIFA will be one of the first games to utilize this feature. Players will be able to download the games in advance of its release, and the game will then unlock on the launch date.

The new FIFA game will let players manage teams in a new way, according to EA Sports.

"Customize up to six different Team Sheets per club and alter your strategy based on your next opponent, the changing tactics in-game and fitness of your player," EA Sports writes. "Get your favorite team playing the way *you* want them to play."

It promises to give you plenty of customizing options when it comes to your team.
