Kell Brook could emerge as Manny Pacquiao's opponent after the Filipino boxing icon's upcoming fight against Chris Algieri on Nov. 22 at the Venetian Resort in Macau, China.

Brook lined himself up for big fights after winning the International Boxing Federation welterweight title via a majority decision victory against Shawn Porter on Aug. 16 in Carson, California.

After winning against Porter, Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn said that they are looking to face Amir Khan, Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the near future.

"I've mentioned the names -- Pacquiao, Mayweather and Porter. Those are the long-term goals but now it's about going back to Britain and celebrating a new world champion," Hearn said via Sky Sports. "We'll be doing a lot of planning over the next couple of weeks. We'll look for that big fight next year -- maybe with Khan or maybe with Pacquiao or Mayweather."

However, most analysts are convinced that Brook needs another big win against another top fighter in order to have a shot against a champion of Pacquiao's caliber.

A fight against Mayweather or Pacquiao is unlikely to happen this year because both fighters have scheduled bouts later this year. Pacquiao is set to face Chris Algieri on Nov. 22, while Mayweather will have a rematch against Marcos Maidana on Sept. 13.

For now, Hearn said that a fight against Khan is the most likely option for Brook in November or December, pointing out that British fans have been calling for an All-British showdown.

"Kell has wanted the Khan fight for three or four years. The British public has wanted it for 18 months or a year. It was always 'if Kell had a belt...' but now he's got one and I think Kell can probably call the shots. I don't think Amir will like that," Hearn said. "If everyone sits down and realizes this is a great fight for Britain. There's a lot of money to be made for both fighters."
