The on-and-off relationship between Rihanna and Drake could be back on again, as the couple was seen partying together in New York City.

According to SandraRose, the Toronto emcee and the Barbadian singer reunited at Griffin nightclub in Meatpacking District for a party that singer K. Michelle was hosting on Monday night. RadarOnline reported that they arrived separately, entering the venue about 10 minutes apart.

Drizzy reportedly invited RiRi for a night out so that he could say that he is sorry for the devil reference he made towards his ex-flame during the recent concert in his hometown. "Right off the bat, he apologized to her," a source revealed to HollywoodLife. "She said he apologized for being 'a d*ck' and for 'disrespecting her in front of the whole world' with that devil reference."

The "0 to 100" rapper was seemingly sincere the whole time he was talking to the "Stay" singer. "She said he was holding her hand and looking real deep into her eyes when he said it," the source continued. "He wanted her to hear his apology and feel it, too, so that she would know how serious he was and that he truly meant it."

However, the "Take Care" duo did not fully discuss why the OVO founder put the R&B star's flaming image onstage in the first place. "They really didn't get into why he thought it was okay to compare her to a devil, and she still wants to get to the bottom of that, but last night wasn't really the time or place," the source added. "She was all ears and didn't press it. Remember, she went there because she was invited and wanted to hear everything he was coming with."

The two stars partied until the club closed and left in separate cars -- the "Diamonds" singer left around 4:15 a.m., nearly two hours after she arrived. Another source said that both looked "very happy": "Drake was smiling a lot and so was Rihanna."
