"Keeping up With the Kardashians" star Scott Disick recently opened up about staying healthy and sober to People Magazine.

"I'm good," Disick told PEOPLE on Sunday while hosting Liquid Sundays at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. "I've had ups and downs. Every time you can better yourself it's a good thing, and a positive thing."

Back in June, TMZ reported on Disick's trip to the hospital for severe alcohol poisoning following a night of binge drinking in the Hamptons.

While he was hospitalized, doctors checked Disick for any additional substance abuse and found only alcohol in his system. [TMZ]

Disick's hospitalization became a sort of wake-up call for the 31-year-old father of two (with one more on the way) whom later promised to remain sober in attempt to mend his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, Us Weekly reports.

Since taking his vow, it seems that Disick is in fact remaining sober. He explained to People that he is "eating better, exercising more," and doing what he can to get by.

"I'm excited to just be feeling good and living healthy, eating better, exercising more and doing whatever I can to get by," he said.

In addition to his healthy regime, Disick is also preparing to be father to his third child with Kourtney Kardashian.

Speaking of his pregnant longtime girlfriend, Disick told People, "She'll [keep running around] until that kid pops out of her."

While hosting Foxwoods Casino's Liquid Sundays pool party, Khloe Kardashian and a bottle of water accompanied Disick, RadarOnline reports.

"He held a bottle of water in his hand for the entire party," a RadarOnline source said. "Khloe was upbeat and friendly, but Scott looked totally and utterly miserable," the insider claims. "He was not in the mood to talk to anyone, and just seemed so uncomfortable.

"It seems very strange that someone who wants to stay sober for his girlfriend would surround himself with booze and party girls."
