Former competing dancer and first-time regular judge Julianne Hough and returning host Erin Andrews have opened up about "Dancing With the Stars" as they prepare for Season 19.

In an interview with E! News, Hough revealed that when it was announced that she would be the fourth judge this upcoming season, she got congratgulatory texts from host Tom Bergeron, Derek Hough, her older brother and "Dancing With the Stars" professional dancer, and fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

"I'm feeling the love," she said.

When it comes to her judging style, Hough said that she will be a combination of co-judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.

"I think I'm a 'Luno' because I have a little bit of encouragement like Bruno does, but I also have some honesty and pinpoints too," she said.

Last week, Hough also previewed her judging style in an interview with People magazine.

"My role is to encourage and be supportive, and to also be candid and honest and try not to beat around the bush, to be too politically correct," she said. "I want to give critiques so they can improve. I'm not there to be harsh or cause a controversy. I won't be mean or malicious. That's not who I am. That's not my role at all."

Meanwhile, Andrews, who will see her second season as "Dancing With the Stars" co-host this fall, spoke about how entertaining rehearsals for the dancing competition show really are.

"Our dress rehearsals need to find their way on to cable television," she said recently in an interview with Fox News. "They're dirty. They're nasty. They're funny. They would never be allowed on broadcast TV, and it's some of the best material ever."

This season's celebrity contestants will be announced on the Sept. 4 episode of "Good Morning America." Season 19 premieres on ABC on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET.
