The biggest story of the summer is the rocky marriage of Beyoncé and Jay Z. There had been endless rumors of a pending divorce. HNGN also claimed that the couple will go their separate ways officially when their joint "On the Run" tour ends this September. Somehow the rumors have not died down even after Beyoncé seemed to put an end to it when she accepted the Vanguard Award from her husband of four years, Jay Z, who appeared on stage with their daughter Blue Ivy at the recent MTV Music Video Awards.

Now, there's new fuel to feed the fire involving the couple and Beyoncé's sister, Solange. Matthew Knowles claims that the elevator fight between Solange and brother-in-law Jay Z was staged, according to ET Online. The not-so-shocking reason was to increase the ticket sales for both the album and the tour. Beyoncé and Jay Z are still doing their joint tour while Solange has just released a new album. The elder Knowles claims that the elevator fight was just a "Jedi mind trick," and that everything was pre-planned.

Everyone knows that Matthew Knowles was the former manager to Beyoncé. He claims that he still is the manager of Destiny's Child and hints that the trio will be releasing an album and go on tour next year. He said that since everyone is now talking about it, the sales of tour tickets went up, and Solange's album sales rose to 200 percent.

That elevator incident happened earlier in the year during the Met Gala Ball. Footage of the fight was posted on the celebrity website of TMZ. Solange and Jay Z later issued a public statement after their reconciliation, saying that they have put the incident behind them and added the usual "moving on as a family" statement to appease the audience. The incident was also mentioned by Beyoncé in the "Flawless" remix that featured Nicki Minaj.
