Actor Wesley Snipes was served with legal papers during the red carpet premiere of "The Expendables 3" movie earlier this month, RadarOnline reports.

According to RO, Snipes is being sued by Sitrick & Company public relations firm "for failure to pay fees associated with work the group did when the actor was facing felony tax evasion charges."

Snipes' legal papers state that the 52-year-old actor must "furnish information to aid in enforcement of a money judgement" that has totaled to the amount of $103,000, RadarOnline reports.

If Snipes fails to oblige to orders stated in the legal papers, his penalties include "arrest and punishment for contempt of court" as well as an "order requiring him to pay reasonable attorney fees incurred by the judgment creditor in this proceeding." [RadarOnline]

In 2008, Snipes was sentenced to three years in jail following his conviction of three misdemeanor counts of failure to file tax returns for three consecutive years. Snipes' failure to file his tax returns eventually resulted in the actor owing the government $7 millon. [RO]

So far, Snipes has not responded publicly to his latest legal drama.

However, rumor reports from the NY Daily News suggest that Snipes may be reprising his lead role in "Blade 4," which could earn him a hefty salary to pay back his legal fees.

The New York Daily News reports that the chances of Snipes starring "Blade 4" are "looking good."

Though Snipes has not confirmed his role in "Blade 4," Bleeding Cool notes that the former "Blade" actor expressed his interest in reprising his role.

"I'd be open to it. You know I think we got some stones left unturned and there's some latitude for us to build on," he told MTV last year.

"I'd love to get back in the suit and do some things that I've learned how to do now that I didn't know how to do then. I think we're better at making that kind of a film now. You know, some of the things that we did in the early parts of the franchise were experimental and now they've become customary in a lot of The Avengers films and other comic book adaptations."
