Friday night's taping of Lifetime's "Project Runway" was for the season finale. And although the show was fashionably late, the wait was worth it for those present at the taping, Broadcasting & Cable reports.

The show started with its top model, host and executive producer Heidi Klum walking down the runway with her fellow judges, fashion designer Zac Pozen, Marie Claire's Nina Garcia and Showtime "Shameless" star and guest judge Emmy Rossum. They stopped at the end of the runway for photo opportunities. Nigel Barker, a former "America's Next Top Model" judge, was seated in the front row.

Heidi Klum never fails to turn heads. She headed a special "Project Runway" presentation for the New York Fashion Week. She wore a figure-hugging lace fuchsia mini dress with crystal jewel adornments. On her feet were matching high heel stilettos.

Emmy Rossum wore a futuristic white blouse and black skirt, paired with black pointed shoes. Nina Garcia looked quite chic in a plunging black blazer paired with matching trousers and heels. Zac Pozen wore a reddish brown suite with lilac dress shirt. He completed the ensemble with a navy blue tie with white polka dots.

The taping of the show ran for more than an hour as the full collections from the top nine designers for the 13th season of "Project Runway" were presented. Vying for the crown are Sean Kelly, Sandhya Garg, Korina Emmerich, Kini Zamora, Fade Zu Grau, Emily Payne, Char Glover, Amanda Valentine and Alexander Knox. The two-part final episode will air on Oct. 13.

The presentation ended with "Project Runway" mentor Tim Gunn being doused with a bucket of cold water courtesy of Heidi Klum in support of the ALS ice bucket challenge.

"Project Runway" is one of the longest running reality TV shows and still remains strong, drawing a huge number of consistent viewers. It continues to rank in the top 10 most social TV shows.
