British boxer Amir Khan believes that Manny Pacquiao will run away with an easy win against Chris Algieri in their upcoming fight on Nov. 22 at Venetian Resort in Macau, China.

Khan said in an interview with BoxingScene that Algieri is a good fighter, but the unbeaten junior welterweight champion doesn't have the tools to score an upset against Pacquiao.

"It is a good fight. Pacquiao is a good friend of mine," said Khan, who is Pacquiao's former sparring partner. "Algieri is a good boxer but I don't think he's got the tools to beat Manny Pacquiao."

Algieri, who is coming off a big win against Ruslan Provodnikov in their World Boxing Organization light welterweight title showdown in June, knows that most people are already counting him out, but he is ready to prove his doubters wrong.

The 30-year-old champion, who has an unblemished 20-0 record with eight knockouts, said that he will work harder than ever in training camp to be ready to score an upset win against a "legend."

"I'm going there to win another title and beat a legend," Algieri said via Philippine Star. "I want to be prepared for the best Manny that could possibly be and really that's all I'm thinking about. I'm thinking about the dominant Manny who has been a cyclone of a boxer. That's the guy I'm ready for."

The Huntington, New York native also vowed not to be intimidated by Pacquiao, which, he said, was the biggest mistake of Pacquiao's previous opponents.

"I'm a competitor, I'm a champion and I want to go in there to win," Algieri said. "That really, I think, is the difference between me and some of the other guys who've got their shot with Manny or with other big fighters, that they're getting caught up in the moment. I'm not that guy. I'm going in there to win this fight and I'm going to be as prepared as possible."
