LeBron James unveiled his newest signature shoe, the LeBron 12, on Tuesday at Nike's corporate headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

The new LeBron 12 shoes, which will be his first Nike sneaker since returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, was made to fit James' explosiveness on the hard court, while also featuring superb cushioning and support along with natural flexibility.

James said that he has been testing the new signature sneaker over the past two months and he sees no problem with it, unlike the previous one. The NBA superstar previously complained about some issues on the LeBron 11, and James said that Nike managed to give him what he wanted with the new model.

"That's the great part about my partnership with Nike. If something isn't right, we're going to continue to go back to the lab to figure it out," James said via Sports Illustrated. "I was able to wear the shoe some games, some games I wore the 'Soldier' shoe. The issues with the LeBron 11 hurt both of us. We loved the shoe so much, the 11, but it wasn't performing how we wanted."

The LeBron 12 features five hexagonal-shaped Nike Zoom Air bags on the outsole, which help improve explosiveness along with a Dynamic Flywire for lockdown support.

Nike Basketball vice president of Footwear Kelly Hibler is confident that LeBron 12 will be accepted well on the sneaker market mainly because of James' insight in creating the signature shoe.

"This is Nike at its best: we take the insights from a world-class athlete in LeBron James to inform forward-thinking designs and create the most innovative shoes," Hibler said via Nike.com. "We've combined the art and science of engineering in the LeBron 12 to advance the game of basketball's best player."

The LeBron 12 will hit the market on Oct. 1 in China and Oct. 11 worldwide in what is dubbed as the NSRL edition. Aside from the NSRL edition, Nike also unveiled the following editions: Heart of a Lion, Dunk Force, Instinct, Six Meridians, Trillion Dollar Man, and Data.
