Katy Perry certainly added fuel to the highly publicized feud rumors with fellow pop star Taylor Swift by recently going out on a dinner date with Swift's ex-boyfriend Harry Styles in Los Angeles.

The "Dark Horse" singer was spotted leaving Nobu restaurant on Sept. 18, just minutes after the One Direction member, whom she kissed on the lips at the MTV VMAs two years ago, made an exit.

"Yes, Katy Perry and Harry Styles had dinner together at Nobu in Malibu late Thursday night, just the two of them," an eyewitness revealed to Hollywood Life. "They seemed happy, smiling and enjoying their dinner and conversation."

"They arrived separately and left separately," the source added. "They looked like good friends and did a lot of talking."

The beef between the two female recording artists escalated when Swift's recent interview with Rolling Stone, in which she explains "Bad Blood," a diss track off her upcoming fifth studio album "1989" that seemingly aims at Perry, was published.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," she said. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

"[Then last year] she did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies. And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business," Swift added. "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

In response, Perry tweeted the day after, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing," making a reference to 2004 teen comedy film "Mean Girls."
