There will not be an early demo for NBA 2K15, nor will there be early access before the game comes out Oct. 7.

If NBA 2K15 wanted to, they could put out a demo, but it just looks like they will not do that this year. 2K Sports did not release a demo in 2014 either but EA Sports' NBA Live 14 did. Even so, 2K Sports produces a much better game according to gamers and many are not bothered by the lack of a demo.

Become a Basketball Player?

With the next-gen systems, modern technology and some creative engineers, you will be able to insert yourself into the game. Face-mapping will help players take pictures of themselves and then play as themselves in the game. But, have no fear, if your body is not lean and cut like an NBA player, that is just fine, just your face will be imported into the game and you can use an NBA player's body.

Check out this trailer to see a little more about the face-mapping feature in 2K15.

Badges

Each 2K15 has certain characteristics and traits. These are described by badges. For example, a player with a "closer" badge steps up in the 4th quarter and makes key shots. An "enforcer" makes the game more physical by being aggressive and phyiscal. A "volume shooter" gets hotter with every shot he attempts, even if he misses. If he goes an extended period of time without a shot though, he will get cold.

LeBron James has the most number of badges with 47. In total, there are 77 badges.
