As production of Fifty Shades of Grey continues, it becomes increasingly unlikely that Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson will be replaced as the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively. Despite the solidified casting, however, celebrities are still being forced to deny their roles and interest in the film adaption of the first book in the erotic book trilogy. Recently, Daniel Radcliffe and Victoria Beckham discussed their consideration of the film.

MTV spoke with Radcliffe, who gained fame as Harry Potter in the film adaption of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, at the Toronto International Film Festival. Radcliffe, 24, was skeptical about how he would fit into in the role of Christian Grey, the kinky, dominating businessman.

"I literally had someone say to me for the first time today, 'The world's in uproar you're not playing Christian Grey,' and I'm like, 'If this is uproar, it's inaudible,'" Radcliffe said in an interview with MTV News.

Radcliffe is not taking it too hard, however. The actor does not seem to have had much interest in the hyper-sexual starring role based off a book that is commonly called "mommy porn."

"I think there was approximately no people wanting me to play Christian Grey, including myself," Radcliffe said. "I have to say, no offense to anybody, I'm sure they're going to do a great job on the movie, but it's not something that I think of would have been a good next step for me."

Although Radcliffe might be a bit too modest to play Christian Grey, he is not too modest to proclaim his love of singer Katy Perry, 28, to the world. He is, however, too modest to say it to the star herself.

"Mentally I am very close to Katy Perry, a lot," Radcliffe said. "I've been in a room with her since, and I couldn't say [anything]. I was across a room from her and I was like 'I can't.' I can't even say anything. You've probably seen an interview with me, [and] you know these thoughts are in my head. I can't even look at you."

Meanwhile, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, 39, is denying rumors that she is designing the wardrobe for Fifty Shades of Grey.

"I heard that rumor too, but I haven't been asked," Beckham said according to Metro. "Don't believe rumors!"

Fifty Shades of Grey will be released by Focus Features on Aug. 1, 2014.
