When Apple first introduced their new set of phones, there were rumors that the release of iPhone 5c cases will be somehow delayed. But it seems that things are going different now that some of its rainbow color rubber cases have allegedly arrived in the hands of those who pre-ordered them, CNet reports.

One of the news sites who confirmed that they received one of the much talked about iPhone 5c cases is the iLounge. According to the site, the case they got was the black version that comes with a microfiber lining. If this happens to be true, then Apple contradicted its own news that there might one to two weeks of delay when it comes to shipping the cases. However, the official online store of Apple states that its shipping time would still take several weeks. Hence, they are uncertain if there were some who got theirs earlier than expected.

Apart from the color black, the iPhone 5c cases which cost at $29 each are also made available in other colors such as pink, yellow and green. It has a cutout feature in its lower part so that the original beauty of the iphone will still be apparent. On the other hand, the future owners of the iPhone 5s can also get to choose from a variety of six colors of cases, however made of leather and at $39 each.

It was just recent when Apple officially announced two models for the iPhone series, the iPhone 5c is the less luxurious in cost while the iPhone 5s is of the higher class. Both are considered replacement options for the iPhone 5 fans and users. As of now, the iPhone 5 production has been discontinued.

The iPhone 5c cases are not just for trendy color purposes but for easier access of the new Apple phone's controls like the volume and the sleep/wake options. According to Apple Insider, there about 30 possible combinations for its phone cover offerings.
