Fighting and killing villains, saving the world, getting the girl and using cool gadgets to do it with is all in a day's work for the British spy James Bond. Now the super spy, agent 007, will be reborn once again in graphic novels.

It was announced this week that Dynamite Entertainment will be bringing Bond back to the masses in the form of comics and graphic novels.

While there have been 23 Bond films to date, the newest set of Bond comics paraphernalia will be the third literary comic iteration delivered to the public.

Dynamite Entertainment intends on using the Bond canon as much as possible. They intend as soon as 2015 to be printing stories about Bond's origins, his activities with villains and combating some of his most well-known adversaries, The Verge reported.

Dynamite CEO Nick Barrucci says that "the character, the structure, and the source material is so incredibly strong." The original storytelling has been the basis for the most successful film franchises, which is what they intend on using.

With the 24th Bond film on its way starring Daniel Craig, Barrucci says that he has always been curious about the origins of the villains. The villains, such as Blofeld, as well as the actors who embody Bond, have helped the franchise become a legend, from the first 007, Sean Connery, through George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and, most recently, Craig, USA Today reported.

With this new comic book deal, Dynamite can add new characters, and also explore other avenues for different villains and origin stories of Bond.

"The Bond villains are some of the most memorable figures in popular culture. Where did they come from? And in some cases, where did they go?" Mike Lake, the Dynamite editor, said, according to USA Today.

Dynamite Entertainment not only has the permission to release the 007 comics, they will be in partnership with the estate of Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond. The Fleming estate has granted Dynamite worldwide rights to publish the comic books, graphic novels and even digital comics starring 007, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

The Ian Fleming Publications Ltd. managing director Corinne Turner was thrilled to be working with Dynamite. Turner stated that "007 will be revisiting the world of comics, as Fleming's novels have a long and successful history in this medium, ever since they began to be published as newspaper comic strips in the late fifties," The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

Bond was created in 1953 by Fleming, but Bond made his way in to the comics in 1958 in the British Daily Express. An adaptation of Casino Royale appeared in the comic strip. Then, by 1963, Bond debuted in America when DC Comics reprinted a British adaptation of "Dr. No," The Hollywood Reporter noted.

In later years, Bond appeared in comics published by Marvel and Dark Horse.
