Academy award winning actor, Jude Law is expecting his fifth child with his ex-girlfriend, Catherine Harding, also known by her stage name, Cat Cavelli, the Daily Mail reports.

Cavelli -- who the Hollywood Life reports is 18 years younger than Law -- is an aspiring singer and actress from Britain who first met Law while he was filming "Spy" in Czech Republic, the Daily Mail reported.

The pair immediately "fell for one another" and continued their short-lived fling together while vacationing for six weeks in Prague.

Though the couple is no longer together anymore, Law's reps insist that Law and Cavelli are committed to taking care of their love child that is scheduled to arrive sometime in the spring of 2015.

"I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring," Law's rep told the Daily Mail. "Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child. They consider this a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made. I ask that you respect the privacy of all parties involved and their families."

In addition to building his career as a highly acclaimed actor, Law has also built a reputation for being a playboy and having a drama filled love life.

According to the Daily Mail, Law is known for his on-off romance with actress Sienna Miller, having an affair with his children's nanny and having a one-night stand with a Florida waitress that "resulted in a paternity-tested daughter."

Law also had another brief fling back in 2008 with model Samantha Burke that also resulted in a paternity-tested daughter, Sophia who is now 5 years old.

Law's three other children come from his ex-wife Sadie Frost. Those children are Rudy, 12, Iris, 13, and Rafferty, 18.

So far, neither Law nor Cavelli have commented on the surprise pregnancy news.
