Oliver will stop at nothing to get his sister Thea to return to Starling City in the next episode of "Arrow."

During last week's episode, Team Arrow grieved over the shocking death of Sara and buried her in her old grave. They also began to investigate her murder after they got a lead on an archer assassin. However, the assassin turned out not to be the culprit and the team was forced to start from square one, Hypable reported.

In her honor, Diggle and Lyla named their daughter Sara, but Laurel was reluctant to tell her father about Sara's death.

Meanwhile, Felicity finally took on a job at Queen Consolidated working for Ray Palmer. In addition, Oliver decided to go on the hunt for his sister after Roy showed him a note from Thea.

In an extended preview from Wednesday's all-new episode, which is titled "Corto Maltese," Oliver goes on a search to find Thea. However, he ends up fighting off Merlyn's forces. During his hunt, he will be joined by Diggle, Lyla's family and the men of Team Arrow.

He will also tussle with the question of whether or not to uncover his identity as the Green Arrow, according to ComicBook.com.

The official synopsis for "Corto Maltese" reads as follows:

"Oliver (Stephen Amell) decides it's time for Thea (Willa Holland) to come back to Starling City, so he packs for Corto Maltese, where Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has traced Thea's whereabouts. Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) asks Diggle (David Ramsey) to go with Oliver because one of her field operatives, Mark Shaw (guest star David Cubitt), has gone dark in Corto Maltese and she'd like him to look into it.

"Feeling responsible for Thea's departure, Roy (Colton Haynes) joins Oliver and Diggle on their journey. Shaw double-crosses Diggle, putting numerous A.R.G.U.S. agents, including Lyla, at risk. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) meets Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez), and Felicity adjusts to her new job."

There are also new spoilers about the highly anticipated crossover between "The Flash" and "Arrow." "Arrow" star Stephen Amell and "The Flash" star Grant Gustin recently opened up about it in a new interview with IGN.

Both heroes will appear together in Episode 8 of each show while the two-night crossover starts off in Central City and moves to Starling City.

However, the title of the "Flash" half of the crossover, "Flash vs. Arrow," hints that the superheroes will bump heads.

According to Gustin, while he and Amell "really get along outside of work," the crossover has been exploring "Barry and Oliver kind of butting heads. We're seeing them learn how to work together, but it's really funny because they're so different and the conversations they have are hilarious."

Amell also teased the showdown between Oliver and Barry, saying, "I mean, Episode 108 [of 'The Flash'] is called 'Flash vs. Arrow.' Our titles aren't just titles. You can bet based on the title that we fight. ...

"Central City and Starling City are very different places. When I go to Central City, it's very much 'All right, I'll tag along, we'll do things your way.' And then, the very next night, in our episode it's, 'I'm sorry, we're not in Central City anymore. We're doing things my way. Things are different here.' ...

"So it's a really interesting checkpoint for both shows because we're able to teach these big lessons to the characters. So hopefully Oliver comes out of his trip to Central City having learned something and [Barry] comes out of his trip to Starling City having learned something as well."

"Arrow" Season 3 Episode 3, "Corto Maltese," airs on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
