Chiquis Rivera has spoken out against Esteban Loaiza's $35 million lawsuit.

Loaiza, who is Jenni Rivera's widower, is suing Starwood Management and Rodatz Financial for loss of future income, past earnings and the loss of the company of his wife.

On "El Gordo y La Flaca," Chiquis expressed her opinion.

"Legally, I know he has a right. And I don't know if it's true, but if it is, it makes me a little bit sad," she said. "My siblings are not only without a mom, they are also without a dad. That belongs to them. I don't care how much they get, but the most important thing won't come back, which is my mom. That money belongs to her children. It seems in bad taste what he is doing."

Chiquis is very protective over her siblings, as she is the oldest one. She is also their legal guardian.

She and her siblings used to live with their aunt, Rosie Rivera, but Chiquis asked to have custody of them.

"Yes, it's true. She moved," she said. "She moved a few months ago, and now I am in charge of the children. I have custody because I asked for it from my aunt."

The second season of Chiquis' reality show, "Chiquis Confidential," has premiered on Oct. 21. The show will focus on her music career and recording her first album.

This season will have 24 episodes, and Chiquis sees it as a chance to defend herself from what people say about her.

"A lot of people criticized me because in the video of my first single 'Paloma Blanca' we used one of mom's dresses, and that annoyed a lot of people," she said. "About the dress, I just asked my Aunt Rosie to wear it and to appear with me in the video. ... I did it with a lot of love and affection."
