Latina singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is publishing her first book, "True Love," in November.

The Penguin Group's imprint Celebra announced the release of the book that's about a very important part of her life.

It's during a time where she faced many challenges as an artist and a mother. This is a delicate stage in her life, when she was vulnerable, but managed to overcome her fears and became a stronger person.

There will be Spanish and English editions of the book with photos of her that were never published before.

Jennifer Lopez told Fox News Latino, "Writing 'True Love' has been a deeply cathartic, personal and vulnerable experience. If it were not for the love and courage given to me by my children, this story would not have been possible."

She opens up about her life in the story, written in diary form. There were many doubts about publishing the book but she wanted the opportunity to connect with readers on an emotional level.

The legendary singer and actress tweeted about her book release back in August that was initially scheduled for October.

Penguin Publishing wrote in a press release, "'True Love' is an honest and revealing personal diary with hard-won lessons and heartfelt recollections and an empowering story of self-reflection, rediscovery and resilience."

In the past few years, she has been through her ups and downs. She made it through her divorce with Marc Anthony and break up with Casper Smart, in addition to releasing her eighth album.

Since her breakthrough, she has been an inspiration to Latinas. Lopez has voiced how proud she is to be a Latina, a sense of pride her Puerto-Rican parents instilled in her from a young age. She is one of Hollywood's leading successful ladies.

A portion of the sales proceeds will go to The Lopez Family Foundation.
