Zelda Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams, paid tribute to her dad with a tattoo of a hummingbird.

She unveiled the tattoo through her Instagram, of the bird on her hand with her dad's birth date on the inside of her wrist, 7-21-51.

The image caption read, "For poppo." She thanked the tattoo artist for bringing her dad's reminders to life and added, "I'll always put my hand out to shake with a smile."

This update came after Zelda took some time off the web following her dad's death in August. She announced that she was taking a break because of the abusive messages she received online.

In response to the comments, she wrote, "As for this Instagram, I don't know in what capacity I'll continue using it in the future, but I'm leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family's photos will get no traction," she wrote. "To be clear, this is MY ONLY account. Publicly, I have Twitter, and this. If other people post quotes and photos claiming to be me or my family, please, do not send them personal information or click links, even for charity. They could be utilizing sympathy to scam you. For the record, no one has ever or will ever speak for me but me. Thank you."

The death of comedian and actor Robin Williams made headlines. His family released comments about him being a kind man who had everything, despite his decision to commit suicide.

Williams left behind three children -- Zachary, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody Williams, 22.

"I lost my father and a best friend and the world got a little grayer," Zak Williams told the media. "I will carry his heart with me every day. I would ask those that loved him to remember him by being as gentle, kind and generous as he would be. Seek to bring joy to the world as he sought."
