NBC canceled "Bad Judge" and "A to Z," two freshman comedy series that air on Thursdays.

The two shows will continue their original 13-episode orders and remain in their original 9 PM Thursday slots, but NBC will not order anymore shows, the network announced Friday.

According to Yahoo!, NBC will replace both TV shows with "The Blacklist" right after the Super Bowl. The drama will fill the 9PM slot, replacing the two half-hour shows.

"The Blacklist," that stars James Spader as an ex-government agent, airs on Mondays.

"Bad Judge" stars Kate Walsh as Rebecca Wright, one of L.A.'s toughest and most respected criminal court judges. Her unorthodox behavior in the courtroom and sharp tongue gives her quite the reputation. Yet, she lives a wild private life and can't seem to settle down with any of the men that are after her.

"A to Z" stars Ben Feldman and Cristi Milioti as the couple, Andrew and Zelda. Their life is chronicled throughout the series, revealing how they became a couple and why they almost were not. The two meet after a computer glitch sends Zelda into an interview for an online dating site, where Andrew works.

Even with the plot twists of a wild judge and the 'love at first site' couple, both shows don't seem to keep viewers engaged. They started out well at the start but fell from tough competition with ABC's "Scandal" and CBS' comedy block. "Scandal" does have the fans screaming for more.

"A to Z" fell nearly 22 percent since its premiere. "Bad Judge" has shown steadily decline in viewership since its premiere as well.

The two new comedies are not the first to be booted out because of ratings. NBC canceled "Manhattan Love" this fall.
