Chiquis Rivera was one of the celebrities honored at Latina's "30 Under 30" event, and the singer took some time to talk about her feud with her uncle, Lupillo Rivera.

Chiquis explained that she should have called him and talked to him personally instead of communication through the media.

"I could have probably [spoken to him.] I should have talked to him, called him up or sent him a text message, but we're OK," she said. "I respect him very much. I love him very much. He's my uncle, and if one day he needs me for anything, which I doubt he will, I'll be there."

Chiquis went on to explain that the two do not talk.

One relative she has also been rumored to have problems with is her aunt, Rosie Rivera.

Once again, Chiquis said that she and Rosie are doing well. The rumors started after it was revealed that Rosie was no longer the legal guardian of Jenni Rivera's two underage children.

"It's been two months since I got the official paper saying they are my babies," Chiquis said of her siblings. "Our relationship with Rosie is also really good. We respect her very much. I saw her today. We talked about Jenni Vive 2014, and everything is good."

Though the rumors of a rift between Chiquis and Rosie are quite new, Chiquis and Lupillo have been going back and forth for a while.

In late October, Lupillo said that Chiquis had made a mistake, and she should have asked for an apology.

Lupillo did not offer any extra details.

Following his comments, Chiquis went on "Sabado Gigante" and explained that Lupillo was not there for her at the time of her mother's death.

"When all that happened on Dec. 9, I was the one who sent my uncles [to look for her.] I said, 'I want you to go look for my mom in that mountain. She has to be there,'" she said. "I said, 'Please go look for her.'"

Her uncles Juan and Gustavo went, but Lupillo did not.

Instead, he was in the studio recording "Yo Te Extrañare." Chiquis said his behavior hurt her and her siblings' feelings.
