Lupillo Rivera continues to have problems with his family.

When his niece, Chiquis Rivera, made it clear that she wanted to talk to him, Lupillo responded by saying that she had made a mistake.

"If you are a normal person and you committed an error, you ask for an apology," he said. "Basically, that's how life is. I am a person who, perhaps, makes mistakes, and I seek apologies and move forward. But I don't like to put it out there so that everyone knows about it."

He didn't provide any further details. But Rosie Rivera recently opened up about supporting Chiquis, even though they are very different.

Jenni Rivera's oldest daughter recently revealed that she has custody of her younger siblings, a right Rosie recently had. Chiquis didn't go into much detail, but she did explain that she wanted to have the right to raise her siblings as she best saw fit.

Rosie has continued to be supportive of Chiquis on her social media pages. Chiquis explained that not having custody of her siblings was causing problems for her.

"One time I went with my sister to get her license, and when we were about to do it, they told me that I couldn't do it because the person that was present was not the one responsible for my sister," Chiquis said. "Rosie was on vacation, so I told her, 'Auntie, I think it's time that I become legally responsible for my siblings.'"

Rosie Rivera was put in charge of Jenni's children and businesses by the singer.

Chiquis is not the only family member that Lupillo has bumped heads with. He and brother Juan Rivera were also communicating via the media. Juan explained that Lupillo did not want to be mentioned in a book about Jenni's life.

"My brother was in a disagreement with Jenni because he didn't want his name to be mentioned for any reason," he said. "I don't know why. I imagine it's because he wants to write a book about his own life, and he wanted to be the first to talk about the events. I don't know."
