Drizzy's third studio album "Nothing Was The Same" will debut at No. 1 - it is expected to sell between 660,000 and 670,000 copies its first week in stores.

If "Nothing Was The Same" meets the sales projections, the album would make the second-largest one-week sales figure of the year, only behind Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience," which sold 968,000 units during its first week in stores in March.

Also, meeting the sales expectation would mean that it would make the Toronto rapper's third consecutive time going No.1; he would have best-selling first week for all of his three studio albums. His 2010 debut album, "Thank Me Later" sold 447,000 copies its first week in stores, while 2011's "Take Care" sold more, 631,000 units.

Drake only had two singles during his promo run for "Nothing Was The Same," "Started From The Bottom" and "Hold On, We're Going Home," which broke the top ten in the billboard hot 100 charts. "Nothing Was The Same" is set to top the Billboard 200 charts this week. The album will attain Gold certification, as well. Currently, "Nothing Was The Same" has sold 658,179 copies.

In addition, the Young Money rapper recently was announced as host, business partner and consultant for the Toronto Raptors NBA franchise beginning with the 2014-2015 season. He will play a crucial role to help the team revamp its logos, colors, uniforms and image.

We all hope that Drake's studio effort will be paid off. The Neilsen SoundScan that includes albums released September 24, which include official numbers for "Nothing Was The Same," is scheduled to be released today (October 2).
