Candice Glover, the winner of season 12 of "American Idol" has pushed back the release date of her debut album. Originally, Music Speaks was to be released in October. Now, Billboard is reporting that the album will not drop until February.

"I know it's taking a bit longer than expected to get my album out, but I have been working hard in the studio with some amazing people, and I want to get it just right for you guys!" Glover said in a press release.

The release postponement will make Glover the first "American Idol" winner not to release their first album within the same year of their "Idol" victory since season one. Kelly Clarkson, the winner of the first season of "American Idol" is the only other "Idol" victor to release an album in the year following their crowning, which took place Sept. 2002.

Glover has been working with producers Harvey Mason Jr., who has worked with Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé, and Jackie Boyz, who has worked with Jennifer Lopez.

Recently, a Pennsylvania couple was sentenced after engaging in a knife fight over who would win Glover's season of "American Idol."

Karen Elaine Harrelson, 48, and Gregory Stambaugh, 57, were watching Glover's season of "American Idol" on May 15 of this year when the altercation began in their West Manchester Township home in York, Pa. According to York Dispatch's coverage of the incident, the two were drunkenly arguing over whether Glover or Kree Harrison should be the season's winner. According to investigators, one of the parties went to the kitchen, found a knife, and stabbed the other person. The person who got stabbed then grabbed the knife and reciprocated.

After the trial, not only did Harrelson and Stambaugh avoid prison sentences for mutual assault, but a court order that prevented the two from contacting each other was lifted.

Harrelson and Stambaugh are still together.

According to court records, Harrelson was sentenced to 13 days to 23 months in county prison, a time-served sentencing. Meanwhile, Stambaugh received two years of probation. According to Hallman, standard-range state guidelines for sentencing did not call for prison.

According to those involved in the case, the altercation was more likely due to the couple's lack of sobriety than over a passion for "American Idol" justice.
