During a recent interview with Extra, "The Hills" alum, Heidi Montag announced her decision to "bow out" of getting further plastic surgery.

"I'm just done with all of it," Heidi said about cosmetic surgery. "I'm going to age gracefully and bow out."

Prior to her decision, Montag obtained ten different cosmetic procedures in one day back in 2010, In Touch reports. Montag's ten surgeries included breast implants, a chin reduction and a mini brow lift.

Since then, Montag has lived in regret over choosing to change her appearance so drastically. The 28-year-old reality star even revealed that she has suffered from severe side effects due to her invasive surgeries.

"I have TMJ now and my jaw hurts," Montag revealed. "I don't think people do tell you the trauma of what you're going to heal from. I was in so much pain, I actually thought I was going to die."

Montag also confessed that she was forced to undergo surgery recently due to an issue she was experiencing with her breast implants.

"My implants were falling through. They were three pounds each so I was really miserable," she said. "Obviously, I didn't want to go back into surgery, but it was really necessary."

Now looking back on her various surgeries, Montag blames the pressures of fame and being a reality-TV star as the reason for her dramatic physical alteration.

"Blogs were just starting then," she explained. "People would write the meanest, nastiest things and sometimes I would read them and then I started feeling them. I disliked myself so much I literally chopped up my whole body."

In addition to choosing to stop plastic surgery, Bynes has also made the decision to write a book loosely based on her life as a reality-TV star.

During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Montag labeled her novel as fiction that was "based on a girl from a small town who fell into the limelight of reality TV and the chaos of it."
