Kendra Wilkinson, one of Hugh Hefner's notorious former girlfriends, said she had to be "drunk" or "high" to have sex with the adult magazine publisher.

The former Playmate, 29, said she was often drunk or stoned while living in the Playboy mansion, according to Daily MirrorDescribing what being Hefner's girlfriend is really like, the "I'm A Celebrity" star said sex with him usually lasted 60 seconds but felt like a chore for her.

"I was usually very, very drunk during those evenings. I tended not to care about much until the next day. I had to be very drunk or smoke lots of weed to survive those nights," Wilkinson said. "At about the minute mark, I pulled away and it was done. It was like a job. Clock in, clock out. It's not like I enjoyed having sex with him."

On "I'm A Celebrity," co-star and TV presenter and model Melanie Sykes asked Wilkinson if girlfriends had to sleep with Hefner.

"You're not obligated. It's your choice," Wilkinson responded.

Wilkinson first met Hefner when he was 78 and she was 18. At the time, she worked as a glamour model and was invited to be a painted girl at Hefner's 78th birthday bash held at the Playboy Mansion. The gig paid a couple hundred dollars, and she was excited to see the Playboy Mansion, according to Wilkinson.

Prior to the birthday celebration, Hefner reportedly saw Wilkinson's photo in the mansion office and asked who she was. He called her to say that he looked forward to seeing her at his birthday party and he'd like her to consider being his girlfriend.

"Hef asked me to be one of his girlfriends and live in the mansion, and I was like, 'I don't even know what that means, but hell, yeah! I'm there!' I was living in this small-ass apartment. ... I was praying for anything to get me out of there," Wilkinson told Sykes.

Did Wilkinson realize sex with the mansion master was a prerequisite to being his girlfriend?

"I moved in and weeks went by, and I didn't know that sex was involved," she said. "Because I knew nothing about Playboy. I had just graduated high school."
