"Que te Perdone Dios" is the next telenovela debuting on Univision.

Unlike the other shows that air on the network, "Que te Perdone Dios" will first air in the United States, notes Radio Formula. Usually, these shows first air in Mexico, but Univision and Televisa have chosen a different approach for this remake of "Abrazame Muy Fuerte."

Before the telenovela airs on Jan. 19, get to know the characters.

Zuria Vega stars as Abigail, notes Univision. Her character is described as a charismatic but restless young woman. She was raised by Macaria, who is a servant. Abigail believes this is her mother.

She has no idea that she was separated from her mother after she was born. She is in love with Mateo Dominguez Parra, but she doesn't think she has any chance. Mateo is engaged.

Mateo is portrayed by Mark Tacher, according to Univision.

He is noble and has very firm ideas. He wants to be a neurosurgeon, and he is in love with the gorgeous Diana Montero.

Unfortunately for him, Diana is not faithful. She cheats on him with his uncle, Fausto. He'll eventually discover that Abigail is the woman for him.

Rebecca Jones is Renata.

She is Abigail's real mother. She was forced to give up her baby by her father, so Renata gave her daughter to one of the employees on their farm.

Renata has had to painfully watch her daughter grow up from a distance. Her daughter thinks of Renata as her godmother.

Mateo's father is being played by Sergio Goyri.

Fausto Lopez Guerra may be Mateo's father, but not many people know it. He is ambitious and cruel. He is going to fall for Abigail, which is going to drive him to do many terrible things.
