Pharrell Williams, the singer-songwriter, record producer and fashion designer, jumped the broom this past Saturday, wedding his longtime model girlfriend Helen Lasichanh in Miami.

The newlyweds, who've been together for five years, and are parents to a 4-year-old son, Rocket Man Williams, applied for a marriage license in person at the Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts Marriage License Bureau on October 7, stated the County Clerk Manager Robert Reboso.

The wedding was preceded by a yacht trip, on a vessel called "Never Say Never," where family portraits were taken by Terry Richardson. Both Williams and his bride wore plaid. Williams' suit was red and Lasichanh's dress was navy, advertising their quirky and adventurous sense of style. The couple and their guests then went to the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Gardens, where vows were exchanged.

Busta Rhymes and Usher, who attended the wedding, both performed during the ceremony, livening up what's usually a tame ritual. Also, William's music was played throughout the night. Other celebrities in attendance: Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Paula Patton, Gwen Stefani and other A-listers.

Williams and Lasichanh were only engaged for three months before deciding to wed, though they've been together for quite some time. Hollywoodlife claimed that the couple actually married in an intimate ceremony in France during late August, and wanted to wait until Oct. 12 for the big ceremony and reception. Nonetheless, the two are reportedly the best of friends, and passionately involved in the upbringing of Rocket.

"It's awesome," Williams said of his family to US Magazine. "I can't tell anyone what to do. I can't give anyone relationship advice. But the bestie thing is awesome. Every night is like a sleepover."
