In December, it was reported that former Miss Bumbum contestant Andressa Urach was fighting for her life after the fillers inside her leg were rotting.

According to the Daily Mail, Urach was in intensive care for a month, and the situation was so serious that she could have lost a leg.

The 27-year-old TV presenter posed in the hospital showing the extent of her injuries. The graphic images show blood, bruises and stiches. (See the images here.)

Before being taken to intensive care, Urach had the fillers drained out of her legs twice. Both times it was unsuccessful, and she then suffered septic shock, which is when Urach was moved to intensive care.

In December, Urach's mother updated her Twitter account to share more news.

"I would ask for prayers from friends and people who wish for the recovery of my daughter,' she said. "She's starting to walk, put her foot down and sit. After all this time lying down, she expected it would be painful. She has been taking morphine since entering the hospital, but now they are taking the drugs away from her gradually."

Urach has reportedly had nine plastic surgery procedures in the last five years, including rhinoplasty, facial correction and enlargement of the breasts.

The 2014 winner of Miss Bumbum, Indianara Carvalho, also made headlines late last year. She announced that she had underwent virginity surgery so that she could pose nude for a magazine. She said she wanted to be as pure as she was as when she came into the world, and she believed it would make her different from past Miss Bumbums. She then told her followers that she would continue to be a virgin.

"For those who have been asking, I'm going to continue being a virgin until I find someone who is worth it," she said on Instagram. "I'm feeling good as I am."
