Thousands (or even millions) of Grand Theft Auto 5 fans are still waiting for the release of one of the game's mobile companion apps on the Android OS: the GTA: iFruit.

It's been over a month since Rockstar Games published one the most awaited video game this year. Grand Theft Auto 5 quickly broke sales records and has since been the talk of the town for its gameplay, graphics and unique features. However, one feature of the video game has been the source of anger and accusations among gamers.

Grand Theft Auto: iFruit has already been released to iOS users but not to Android users, causing non-Apple users to think that the tech giant may have paid Rockstar Games for an exclusive release. This has caused outrage among the Google operating system users.

"With GTA 5 released over a month ago, still no iFruit app on Android. I wonder how much money @RockstarGames received from Apple for that?" tweeted @deepwire.

"I still can't believe iFruit for GTA V isn't on Android but it's been released on the sub-standard Apple devices. #Android #Apple," Sean Tetsall also posted.

"@RockstarGames has completely ruined GTA: Online. And iFruit isn't out on android. Might just go and play some @Formula1game instead." Jonny Ashworth also shared on Twitter.

Moreover, the online petition for GTA: iFruit to be released on Android has already reached its goal of having 5,000 signatures, with 5,220. Rockstar Games has still kept mum about the issue though, without any official announcement on when they will release the mobile app on Android, except a simple "coming soon" on its official blog.

GTA: iFruit is a companion application for the video game. It offers two features that will be connected to the console gameplay of users: Los Santos Customs and Chop the Dog.
