The Dallas Cowboys (4-3) and Detroit Lions (4-3) are headed into an explosive football encounter on Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Of course, all eyes will be on the match-up between NFC's top two wide receivers: Dez Bryant and Calvin Johnson.

Cowboys Look To Tame Lions

The Cowboys will try to capture their third win in a row despite dealing with several injuries on their key personnel as they play the up-and-coming Lions.

Coming off back-to-back wins against the Washington Redskins 31-16 and the Philadelphia Eagles 17-3, the 'Boys look to solidify their position on top of the NFC East standings with a win in Detroit.

But despite their success as of late, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is very much concerned about his team's tendency to relax in the fourth quarter.

"There were a lot of good things in that game, obviously we didn't finish that game the way we wanted to throughout our football team, we turned the ball over on offense and that's something hopefully we can learn from," Garrett told reporters before Sunday's game via ESPN.

Roaring Lions

Unlike Dallas, Detroit is a bit inconsistent in their past three games. After taking a 9-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Lions bounced back in the next week against the Cleveland Browns 31-17 before suffering a heartbreaking 27-24 loss in Cincinnati a week after.

Lions running back Reggie Bush and Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh appear to be all pumped up for their looming battle against the Cowboys, promising to give all they've got for the game.

"They're a good team, they're a good defense, they have some good players, DeMarcus Ware, Sean Lee, there are some good young players up front," Bush said in the press conference. "So this is another good front seven we're going to face, we've got our work cut out for us."

"I'm really just focusing on Dallas," Suh told ESPN. "I'm not really concerning myself with that, just yet, until the bye week comes."

Bryant is no Megatron

Bryant generated some buzz last week after telling everybody that he's capable of matching up Calvin Johnson's performance as the top wide receiver in the league.

Bryant, in his third year with the Cowboys, has already recorded 42 receptions for 569 yards with six touchdown catches this season. On the other hand, Johnson collected 33 catches for 492 yards with six TDs in seven games.

Bryant might have an edge over Megatron so far, but Lions wideout Nate Burleson believes the Cowboys wide receiver has a lot of training to do for him to match Johnson.

"Listen, I like Dez, I think he's one of the best receivers in the game right now, very talented, fast, big, strong," Burleson told the press via ESPN. "He possesses all the tools to possibly be as good as Calvin. But he's not Calvin Johnson. No way, no how. Sorry, Dez. Keep it real."
