The soulful and guitar-led track features West's dynamic rapping skills, McCartney's soulful musical sound, and Rihanna's vocals to create a unique and unlikely sound for the Bajan singer who is known for her provocative lyrics and dance music.

In the song, Rihanna sings the lyrics, "Now I'm four, five seconds from wildin'/And we got three more days/I'm just tryna make it back home by Monday, mornin'/I swear I wish somebody would tell me/ Ooh thats all I want."

So far, Rihanna's new single has garnered mixed reviews from fans.

Many Twitter users are raving about the new song while some iTunes customers aren't too pleased with the new sound that Rihanna is going for.

iTunes listener Joshua Barana wrote, "I expected more from her, like 'We Found Love' or 'Only Girl' or 'Umbrella' and 'Diamonds' and songs like that. But this song is not the Rihanna I fell in love with. I want a better lead single and a bigger comeback from her 2 year hiatus."

Prior to the release of "FourFiveSeconds," McCartney was featured on Kanye West's auto-tuned ballad, "Only One" that was released at the start of the new year. Following the release of "Only One" West's fans flooded Twitter with messages about not knowing who McCartney is and their belief that West discovered the Beatles legend.

Despite the ignorance of his younger fans, McCartney appeared unfazed by the tweets and shared a link to the "Only One" single the following day while wishing his Twitter fans a "Happy Rocking New Year!" Check out McCartney's tweet below.
