Shortly after rush hour on Tuesday night, Netflix released the first teaser for its upcoming eight-episode "Wet Hot American Summer" miniseries, and the Internet exploded overnight with many Millennials taking to Twitter and Facebook.

Merely listing a huge cast of major Hollywood talent in bold letters scrolling through the new teaser, the short trailer only gives a taste of what's to come over the next year.

Netflix confirmed earlier this month it was resurrecting the title, based on David Wain's and Michael Showalter's cult classic satirical sex comedy film that bombed at the box office in 2001. Some critics at the time gave the film negative reviews, notably Roger Ebert, who rated the film with one star out of four. The iconic film critic despised the popcorn indie movie so much his review took the form of a tongue-in-cheek homage to Allan Sherman's "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh," showing off the wit's talent for songwriting.

The stars of "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp" include: Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter. That's most of the original cast! Like before, director/co-writer Wain and co-writer Showalter will be returning at the helm of the series.

The series will also feature three-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper ("Silver Linings Playbook," "American Hustle," "American Sniper"), who made his feature film debut in the original film. Cooper admitted in an interview with James Lipton on "Inside The Actor's Studio" that he missed his graduation from his time Actors Studio Drama School at The New School (now Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University) because he was shooting the film.

As the title hints, the series, set for debut this summer, will tell the story of the first day of Camp Firewood's famous summer season, Mashable reports.
