In a recent interview with Billboard, "Roar" singer Katy Perry opened up about her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift and suggested her upcoming Super Bowl performance would address the feud also, Us Weekly reports.

"If somebody is trying to defame my character," she said in response to the feud, "you're going to hear about it."

Yahoo! Celebrity U.K. previously reported Perry had plans to perform a surprise diss song about Swift, "She's So Creepy."

Perry and Swift's beef first began when Swift released "Bad Blood" about a "mystery celebrity" who fans later discovered was Katy Perry.

In a September interview with Rolling Stone, Swift explained "Bad Blood" emerged after a "mystery celebrity" sabotaged her tour by hiring all of Swift's cast and crew.

"For years I was never sure if we were friends or not," Taylor said. "She would come up at awards shows, say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

Swift added the beef "wasn't even about a guy! She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour -- she tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."

Since then, Perry and her friends have continued to throw shots at the"1989" singer.

Whether Perry will in fact perform her diss song remains to be seen.

However, Perry did confirm that there would be special guests featured in her performance, including Grammy award-winning rockstar, Lenny Kravitz, who she described as "an incredible rock & roll icon, a guitar god."

Us Weekly also confirmed legendary female emcee Missy Elliot would appear as a surprise guest during Perry's Super Bowl halftime show.

Perry hinted at Elliot's performance during a Thursday news conference where she revealed an "old school" female artist would perform on stage with her.

"All I can say is that it will be a real female fun night," she said. "It's a bit old-school, but when this person enters the stage and you hear the first ring of the chord, jaws will drop and faces will melt."
