The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will collide in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Seahawks earned a ticket to the Super Bowl for the second consecutive season after scoring a come from behind 28-22 victory in overtime against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship, becoming the 12th team in NFL history to get a chance to repeat.

All eyes will be on Russell Wilson, who turned from goat to hero during their win against the Packers. The 26-year-old quarterback had four interceptions against the Packers, but saved the best for last as he completed the game-winning touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse.

Wilson, who holds an impressive 6-1 record in the postseason and 10-0 card against Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks, has completed 29 of his 51 passes for 477 yards in the postseason with four touchdowns and four interceptions.

The Seahawks are facing injury woes heading into the biggest game of the season. Cornerback Richard Sherman is bothered by an elbow injury, while safety Earl Thomas is dealing with an ailing shoulder.

Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor also needed medical attention after their final practice on Friday, and was seen leaving with a heavily-wrapped left knee, according to Nick Shook of NFL.com, but reports indicated that the 26-year-old will play against the Patriots along with Sherman and Thomas.

On the other hand, Patriots veteran quarterback Tom Brady will look to spoil the Seahawks' bid to become the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowl victories in a decade.

The Patriots are the last team to score two consecutive Super Bowl victories, and Brady, who will be the first quarterback to start in six Super Bowls, is determined to keep that record and win his fourth title on Sunday.

"There are 32 teams that started. There are two remaining," Brady said via ESPN. "We're trying to be the one that finishes off the season the way you want to."

The 37-year-old quarterback, who has 20 playoff victories and 49 postseason TD passes, led the Patriots to a lopsided 45-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship, completing 23 of his 35 passes for 226 yards with three touchdowns against just one interception.

The Super Bowl 2015 match between the Seahawks and Patriots will kick off at 6:30 p.m. EST. Fans can catch the action on NBC and through online live stream via NBC Sports Live Extra and NFL.com.
