Slim Shady successfully released his long-awaited eighth studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" on Nov. 5. Now, the rapper crosses off one more on his to-do list, appearing on the cover of Complex. Eminem is slated to appear on the December-January 2014 issue of the magazine.

The publication has created double digital cover for the issue - one features the Detroit rapper in a old-school edition with a design that says "Time 4 Sum Aksion," throwing back to 1992, while another cover has a modern, updated version with the words "Time For Some Action" on it.

In the cover story, which is titled "Back Issues," Eminem talks about his latest album release and compares it to the original "MMLP."

"On the first 'Marshall Mathers LP,' there were some personal things that I addressed and on this record, there are some chapters that I wanted to close," says Em. "This isn't 'Recovery,' where I was coming off some personal tragedies. I'm not coming off of a drug overdose. It's more about going back to the basics of hip-hop and some fundamentals in that sense."

Eminem also talks about how personal his lyrics have been.

"A lot of my career I put a lot of my life out there," he says in the article. "It was personal s--t I would put out there and didn't really give a f--k. Sometimes I think back and I'm like, 'Damn, was I doing the right thing? How much of myself do I wanna put out there?' In one aspect, you want your fans to feel like they know you and connect with you. But then you're like, 'Man I got nothing to myself no more.' I don't want to give away how personal this s--t is going to get."
