The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is only a few days away from hitting cinemas, and we can already hear fans screaming, crying (and even waling) in anticipation of the second installment of the movie franchise.

While us, mere humans, have not seen the movie in full length, except for a few trailers and clips here and there, some privileged people from the press have already watched the film and have given their verdict. Notably, almost 99% of all these people have said that Catching Fire pummels the first one in every aspect.

The film again dares to enter the cruel world of the Susanne Collins' bestselling novel. With Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) back in District 12 after winning the 74th Hunger Games, they try to move past the nightmares of the games and try to get back to their normal lives. However, they soon find out that this is far from impossible, as their previous actions have already caused uprisings in their country, Panem. President Snow (Donald Sutherland) is now, more than ever, eager to make them pay for their decision to survive.

According to Peter Debruge, Chief International Film Critic for Variety, the sequel is "far superior" than part one. He writes, "'Catching Fire' makes for rousing entertainment in its own right, leaving fans riled and ready to storm the castle."

The Hollywood Reporter also echoed the same ideas about the movie. The site noted how the Catching Fire holds no possibility of disappointing its hoards of fans and followers. It also commended Lawrence's acting in the movie, calling it the "superb center of it all."

"Although less of her screen time is devoted to outdoor action than was the case the first time around, Lawrence further solidifies her tenacious grip on this signature role as she explores Katniss' tortured inner self," THR described.

With a 95% TomatoMeter rating on the film review website Rotten Tomatoes, with only one "Rotten" review in all of 22, we can all be sure that Catching Fire will be every penny's worth as it opens in theatres on Nov. 22
